I will be offering a "Start at Art" Summer Break Camp. Ages 4-8.
Full day - 9am - 4 with extended before and after childcare offered at an additional rate.
Half day - 9-12 or 1-4
Due to diet restrictions please pack a lunch for full day sessions. Fruit, veggies and drinks will be provided.
It will run for 5 weeks (possibility of August). Weeks of June 27th, July 5th(tues) discounted rate for the 4th holiday, July 11th, July 18th and July 25th. You can enroll in a full or half day weekly program. Either for all 5 weeks (email me for a discounted rate of 2 or more weeks) or for a particular week/s. I can also offer once/week for the summer. Example, you enroll every Tues beginning June 28th - July 26th. 4 or 5 classes total. Either half or full day. Drop-ins are welcome too if you call or email first. If you don't want to commit to anything over your summer, (perfectly fine!!!) then just drop me an email or call to check on enrollment and I may be able to fit you in that day! PM me with questions if this sounds confusing. My time is flexible and I can be sure to work something out.
We will be exploring Fine Art Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Collage making, Mural Art, Origami and a few surprises thrown in. See my blog post here on some of the fun Winter ART that we created.

Where - ART Camp Sessions are held in New Paltz, NY. The beautiful Hudson Valley. I will be offering them out of a small cozy- but bright, artwork filled room in my house, open space in my house, AND best of all we will also set up for some art fun outdoors to create freely out in the open air!
Rates – My full day weekly rate is discounted at $225 for the week or 55/day 9am-4pm
Half day, either 9am-12 or 1pm-4 is 160/wk or 40/day.
ALL MATERIALS ARE INCLUDED
Kids may explore a variety of media as they draw, paint and sculpt. The fun and colorful projects appeal to children of all ages. A few of the well-known artists that we will explore are Matisse, O’Keeffe, Van Gogh, Picasso, and Illustrator and Storywriter Eric Carle.
We will:
· Learn about artists and artist styles
· Demonstrate art techniques
· Explore creative art materials
· Design original artwork
I will provide an environment for one on one to work with each child, answer questions, demonstrate techniques and encourage exploration. I hold a degree in Art and Photography and my daughter has taken 3.5 years of art classes such as sculpture and drawing and will be there to assist. I currently provide childcare out of my home and have reliable experience with children. Parents are absolutely welcome to stay if they wish.

My goal is to inspire kids to reach beyond and create art that is unique to them. I will provide an environment for one on one to work with each child, answer questions, demonstrate techniques and encourage exploration. Many children find a new interest in exploring their own creativity. We will paint, draw, sculpt, design, imagine, and explore using a wide variety of artist materials and techniques, all in an atmosphere of fun!
